i had a complete miscarriage at 5 weeks , this was now roughly 6-7 weeks ago and i still have not had my period!! is this normal? i had cramping last week which i thought was the onset of my period but there was nothing! could i have been ovulating? is there a possibility that i could be pregnant again? please help :(

I am in the same boat as you. I actually just posted my own question but it is almost the same as yours. Let me know what happens.

thankyou for the reply hun,

i did have an u/s and everything was clear on that i have an 8 year old girl that i had no complications with so all this was a bit of a shock to me!
me and my partner are desperate for another child and apart from the cramping last week and tender breasts i feel fine.
i dont really know what my cycles are like because i was on the implant for 5 years previous so im on a guessing game i think which is even more frustrating!!

thankyou again for your help xx

Hi-- I'm sorry about your loss... I hope you are on the mend mentally and emotionally.

It could be all of the above...It took 60 days for my cycle to start back up after my m/c (although I have long cycles to begin with) so I could see how you might be feeling some ovulation pain.  That said, you wouldn't be the only one on the forum who got pregnant in the cycle after a m/c (which is only a problem for your Dr's attempts to date the pregnancy, otherwise, it's nothing to worry about).  If your cycle doesn't start in the next week, I'd suggest going in for a blood pregnancy test and to see if your Dr will give you some meds to get your cycle started again.  You said it's a complete m/c so I'm trusting you've had an u/s to confirm everything is clear-- if not, you may want to see a Dr sooner just to confirm there isn't an infection starting...

Take care & welcome to the forum!
