I am 3 weeks pregnant and today i started bleeding from light to moderate. could this be a sign of having a miscarriage????

I am 3 weeks pregnant and today i started bleeding from light to moderate. It usually comes when or after i pee and then blood tends to come out, its not too much but its very slimy and it looks like its mixed in with discharge also when i wipe its goes from light to dark. I am having slight pains in my uterus area so could this mean that im having a miscarriage or is this normal.. please every answer is welcome

i am only 5 wks pregnant, and i found out at around 4wks, by chance was going in for iud and voila was pregnant had a period 3 1/2 wks ago so not so unheard of. i am also having brown slimey discharge and light to moderate bleeding with clots, us today showed yolk sac and gestational sac in place, but still think i could be havind miscarriage. my sister m/c 4 wks ago started bleeding went to dr and they saw yolk sac and gest sac one wk later she went and was rescanned and the baby was gone..good luck hope this helps.

i agree with adgal, i have not heard of too many people finding out at 3 weeks pregnant.  3 weeks 5 days is even early.  are you 5 weeks and not counting from the first day of your last period?

if you are only 3 weeks like you think, then it could be a chemical pregnancy because again 3 weeks is very very early to find out.  i would call your doctor.

I agree with you Tiger63 this is how my miscarriage began aswell, it started very light then got heavier but was not as heavy as a period and only had very slight pains, I miscarried last week at 5 weeks. Please get yourself checked out!

it could just be that your having a light period this happened to me i was 9 weeks gone before i even knew i was preg for this very reason, but in my case i sadly miscarried but i know alot of my friends who have had children experienced the same type of bleed in early preg and went on to have a healthy baby.

I am a bit confused...you are 3 weeks pregnant?  That would mean 3 weeks from the start of your last menstrual period, and if thats the case, its awfully early.  Sorry, I don't intend this to come across as disrespectful, I am just a bit confused and could better answer your question if you let me know.  Or are you talking about 3 weeks from your ovulation time?

Not trying to scare you but this is how my miscarriage began. Please go to hospital staright away and have a doctor check you out. Lay down and try to relax until you get there. Some women do have a bit of bleeding in early pregnancy then go on to have a successful pregnancy but please do go and get checked out.
