it so confusing at the moment, the waiting is actually worse than anything. the dr dont seem to tell you anything which i find is making the situation worse. I'm really sorry for you loss and wish you all the best in the future :-)

i agree with the previous comment about waiting. trust me i know how you feel. i went into labor with my first baby at approx. 20 weeks (i thought i was 17 but ultrasound in the er revealed 19-20 weeks) but, in the end they could not stop my contractions and my son died shortly after he was born. my doctor told me to wait at least 6 months, your doctor should have given you an appropriate time frame. i know what's it's like to want to try again right away but for your health you should consider waiting. when you're further along into the pregnancy and you have a loss, your body needs more time to heal and re adjust to get back to normal. i waited 8 months and then miscarried right way. waited 2 months to try for a 3rd and my daughter was lost at 16 weeks. i would wait another week and take another hpt, if it's still positive go to the doctor to get blood work so you can find out if this is a new pregnancy or left over hcg from your previous pregnancy making the test come up positive. i am sorry for your loss and good luck.

Thanks lilly0. I did do a pregnancy test and i came back positive, but i've read that this could be due to hormones left over from the previous pregnancy. Maybe i should wait a while and find out :-)

It is possible but i dont think its tooo safe for you, as your body just went trough this sock of losing your child!!

Phone your doc and just find out from him.

Goodluck:)
