Just an FYI

I've seen the question asked about when you should expect your period after a m/c.. i miscarried 6 weeks ago and its been killing me about when i should expect my next period so we can start again.. i finally put in a call to my OB after a barage of very confusing symptoms.. to find that this type of thing is very common even after an early all natural miscarriage.. my OB told me that if you passed everything naturally and the bleeding stops within a week and your HcG levels go back to 0 (usually 6-10 days after miscarriage) you can expect ur next period sometime between 4-7 weeks.. if it hasn't came after that time frame even if you've had a D&C its a good idea to get ahold of your OBGYN and be checked out again because can mean something is going on with your hormones... i.e. didn't go back to normal.. have an infection.. or your pregnant again..

just thought i'd put this out there for anyone who might want to know or didn't know whatever :) hopefully it helps!! lots of baby dust..

I get to see if AF shows sometime this week and if not get to see the OB and figure out whats going on :)

I think that is great and I'm very happy fro you.I just don't agree with women being given false hopes after such trauma being caused by losing their pgs. Either by dr's or everday people. I wish you the best. I hope you get your bfp sooner than later!

Oh yeah i know everyone is different and every doctor is different i've already been to 3 different OB's just in a last 6 months i guess im just one of those kind of people who has to have something to look forward to not knowing is something that drives me crazy.. i wouldn't say my doctor is by the books just understands i need a goal i guess would be the best way to discribe it :)

Thanks for the info. I just want you to know I have had 6 m/cs and everyone of them has had a different affect on my period. Everybody is different. It also depends on your dr mine is not so by the book he is very laid back and takes a more subtle approach to medicine. I wish you the best and a quick recovery! Let me know what happens!

Ps Bam I agree with you. I actualy don't like 2 of the nurses for my ob they are new and have no bedside manner. I talk to the nurse practicioner if my dr is busy! I'm glad your dr's nurses are good! It really does help!

I think it's just as important to have a good nurse as it is to have a good dr.  They're the ones you always talk to anyways.  I asked my OB/GYN nurse so many silly questions since I've been on the Clomid and she is always understanding.

thanks i thought i'd post it sense i researched it and not much really came up was kinda frustrating because nothing really said how long u should wait before you should get a hold of the doctor.. and i think most of us feel the same way we don't want to be jumpin on the phone to ask every lil question not to mention i can't just talk to the doctor i usually have to leave a message and then get a call back from the nurse.. lol
