I'm confused!!!!

Hi 1st of all i would like to say sorry for all the angels that were lost.This is my story as follows i went off the pill on may 8th 08.After going off the pill my period was exactly every 28days.My period started on 17th May had no problems with it my next period was 14th June exactly 28 days later,my next period was due on 12th July.7th july i took a HPT it was positive so the next 4 days i took HPT's everyday all was positive.5 days after my period was due(17th july) i started bleeding with no pain at all.I stopped bleeding on 19th july.On 18th july i seen a doctor the pregnancy test was positive she draw some blood for a HCG test and said i might have lost the baby.22nd july she rang me back with the results,she told me i must be very early in my pregnancy because the HCG level was only 4 and never said anything else.I didn't like what she told me so i went and seen my own doctor 2day.He told me my HCG level was only 3 and said i'm not pregnant but ordered another HCG test today i will find out on friday what that is.I don't know if anyone else has gone through the same if so please let me know how things went.

Hi, i would like to say im sorry for what you are going threw, i had a missed m/c june 12th at 10weeks.

I agree with waiting, hpts has made it easier for women to find out very early. Even still, most women who are not trying to get preggo but dont use precautions still dont find out there preggo until they are 8-12 weeks.  But for women who are trying to get preggo, we are finding out very early, only days after conception by having the dr draw our hcg levels.

It could have been a chemical pregnancy, which basically means your body was pregnant, but it didn't last very long and you miscarry a few days later.  Now with HPTs wee can find out so early we are pregnant, when in the past a woman wouldn't even know they were pregnant, and would just think that her period was late.  With your HCG levels so low, perhaps this is what happened.  Good luck to you!
