POSITIVE URINE TEST AFTER MISCARRIAGE

I would appreciate any guidance here....I had a miscarriage back in Novermber of 2008.  Normal systems, cramping, bleeding, at 4 1/2 weeks.  I found out that I was pregnant by blood test on April 21.  This Monday I started spotting minimally, and the next day had my blood ran, and they said my HCG level was at 0.  Today 4 days later, my breasts still hurt, my bleeding was severly minimal....I broke down and took two pee tests this evening and they both say positive!  What is going on?  Any advice out there?  If my level was at zero in the dr's office, is it possible it is still showing up in the urine test?  Please help!!!!

Do they not advise you to wait any specific time after miscarriage?  We are anxious to try again, but leary at the same time.  Went to the dr today, and I am not pregnant.  SOOOOO.....he said he would give it 6 months for me to do it on my own, b/f he tries any meds or tests....I am 36 years old, and not getting any younger LOL....

The blood test would have to be wrong to say your hcg was zero.  Zero would never show up on a hpt.  Get into the Dr. asap and ask for another blood test.  If it's still zero, get an ultrasound done to find out what is going on.  Good luck to you!

I'm not sure that is weird. If you did have a m/c on the 21st I don't know if you would be pg that quick. I would def have your blood re drawn. Labs have been known to make a mistake. I would think that if the 1st hpt you took was pos and it was a false pos that the 2dn one would have been too. I can't wait for tuesday to see what they say. I honestly don't know what to think. If anything happens though like the dr's office said go to the er and get checked out. Wow what do you think? Best wishes to you and good luck!

Thanks!  When I called the dr's office yesterday, she basically said just to take it easy, watch everything, and if anything strange or drastic happens over the weekend, go to the ER.  Otherwise, I have a dr's appt on Tuesday, so we will see what happens....took another one this morning, and it immediately popped up positive.  Lines darker than last week when I took one...WEIRD!

you could be pregnant! you should call you dr. and find out if you really pregnant.
or it can be reading a false positive.
