Miscarriage fear

Hi I'm 20 years old and going thought my second pregnancy. My first I miscarried at about 6 weeks and I had some very heavy bleeding. Well now im in my 6 weeks again and I first started having some light pink spotting, now it has progressed into brown blood when I wipe. my boyfriend and I are both looking forward to having a child since it will be the first for both of us. But we don't know if we should be planning for a baby or a trip to the ER. so how normal is this spotting.

Just had my second dnc. Last wed went to the Er due to spotting and it was a little darkbwithbno cramping. We had an ultrasound at 7 weeks with strong heartbeat as well. In my situation nurses said spitting can be normal don't worry but ultrasound showed no heartbeat even bleeding stopped. I hope your situation is different because most spotting is normal. If you do miscarry please do not take bad luck for an answer. Ask them about clotting disorders and progesterone levels. These are 2 common problems for miscarrige and have treatments

Spotting does not always mean m/c.  It could be a uti, from sex, infection, etc.  If the bleeding is not heavy or you are not experiencing painful cramps things could still be ok.  Call your drs after hours line and see if they want you to be seen in the er or they may want you to wait till tomorrow to be seen in the office.  Good luck to you.

I feel you should see your doctor. Spotting is not always a bad sign but it needs be addressed.

I would speak to your doctor and get this check out. Please do not panic as things may be totally fine, but any spotting has to be brought to ur doctors attention as they need to make sure that things are processing as it should.

Look after urself
