Miscarriage or not?

I am 5 weeks and two days yesterday morning I experienced some brownish when I wiped myself then when I went to the bathroom again it started to look more like blood I called my doctors and she said it can be normal especially after having intercourse. But when I when I was out shopping I went to the bathroom and my panty liner was all dark brown blood so I told my boyfriend we went to the hospital they rain blood work and said everything came back normal and they even did another pregnancy test and it came back normal. They did two ultrasound one on my stomach then did the vaginal one there she seen a sac. Now last night into this morning and up until now my blood is red with cramping but with no blood clots that I can see I didn't go through this with my one in half year old now I am with my second. They said it's still to early for them to see if there was anything in the sac so this week they want me to come when I'm six weeks and get more blood work done. But I have no clue if this is a miscarriage or not?
