Miscarried at 8 weeks still no period am i pregnant again?

Hi im 18 and i found out i was pregnant around the 1st of January 2012 , all was well till i had a scan at 9 weeks(09.02.12) after loosing some blood i found out the fetus had died at 5 weeks and the fetus didn't come out till the next day so it would of been in there dead for 3 weeks.
when i ovulate i notice a clear discharge like a clear gel in my knickers every month and i noticed it on the 6th week of pregnancy i then had unprotected sex with my boyfriend after this and then a couple of days later the bleeding started and the fetus came out.
i bled for about a week however i still have not received a period since February i am now 5 days late i was also recently admitted to hospital after having a bad infection post miscarriage and my HCG level was very very high but 2 weeks later with a period 5 days late the pregnancy tests are coming up so faint its berly noticeable i don't know what to do ? Could i be pregnant someone please help me.

It can take some women 4-8 weeks for a period to return, some even longer, after a miscarriage. You could be pregnant, all you do is take another pregnancy test and see what it says. I'd wait another days before testing though just let hormone levels rise.

Some ladies on here have been very lucky and have become pregnant soon after a miscarriage and have had a healthy baby. If you say you are 5 days late i would take a pregnancy test again to see if it gets any darker. Although in my case i had a miscarriage at 14 weeks. And after my d&c i was still getting postive tests 2 weeks later. But then as the days went on i got negatives as there was no more hcg left in my body. Still waiting for my bfp 4 months later xxx
