Ok Ladies need some TTC advice

Ok as most of you know I had a d&c and methotrexate June 25th......I also spent 3 days in the hospital at the end of July due to an abcess behind my uterus....I had 2 days of bleeding while in the hospital so I'm not sure if that would be considered a normal cycle or not...Well I went from the first date I started bleeding in June the 20th and since I started my period this morning I seem to be right on track....

I was told to wait 6 months before trying to conceive again but that seems like a lifetime away...

So I think I will wait one more cycle in September to make sure im back to normal and then start trying again..What do you ladies think?

Im not getting any younger I will be 38 on September 27th so times a wastin...

Just looking for thoughts and suggestions

You're very welcome. I hope you can get a BFP again very soon. I'm working on one right now, I'm in the TWW.
SSBD to you as well!

Thanks for the reply....

They told me to wait 6 months right after the D&C....The abscess didnt rear its ugly head until a month later...so that had nothing to do with the suggestion to wait....

I like the going theory :) and I think Im gonna let my body decide what it is ready for :)

you know try without tryin....Thanks again for the reply and the SSBD....

Why do they want you to wait, did they say. I would just be worried about the abscess, is it all cleared up I guess? My doc didn't give me any limitations after my D&C but I didn't have any problems after it. The going theory is that if your body is ready it will take care of itself. I think I would check with your doctor to see exactly why they said 6 mo. and go from there. If it was because of the abscess or complications I might wait, if it is just their recommendation after a D&C, I might not be so willing to wait so long. I don't want to go against your docs instructions, but I know alot of doctors disagree. Good luck and SSBD to you whenever you decide to TTC again.
