Period or misscarriage? :'(

Can someone help me?? Ok my fiance and i have been trying for about 5 months to get pregnant. I have alot of problems with ovarian cysts and not ovulating normally, my fiance also has problems (even though they were never officially confirmed) but he has been in and out of the hospital all his life from severe kidney problems and on god knows how much medication. The most recent was in April he went in for kidney failure and was in for almost a month and on so much meds and still is. We figured it waant going to be easy getting preg. Heres the problem...my period was due on sunday, today is tuesday and i just got it this morning. I have never missed or been late for a period. My period always come on the morning of the 25th day of my cycle. It was light this morning as it normally is so i said ok my period is here but still didnt know y it was late. It began to get a little heavier as the day went on. About a half hour ago i started getting extremely severe cramps. I went to the bathroom to change my tampon and when i took it out there were large almost black in color blood clots all over the tampon and a large one probably about the size of a large strawberry in the toilet along with some smaller ones about the size of cherries. Is this normal or was i pregnant and lost it? Idk what to do right now, im scared that i lost my baby and didnt even know that i was pregnant and if it wasnt that then is there something wrong with me? Can anybosy help me please ??

Thank u so much everybody, u really made me feel a lot better. I just got so scared cause thats never happened before, ive never had a problem with my period so that was the first thing that went through my head. Thanks u so much!! <3

Thats how my periods were before I got pregnant they sucked thats when I always had to change a tampon because those clots can hurt like hell. But a miscarriage usually has white thick tissue in there that you can see in light color Its hard for me to explain bu t I think it was just a normal period they can range from light to heavy and change up at anytime it all depends on how thick your uterine lining gets that prior month

it also may hqve been heavy and thickbecause it was late id reccomend seeing ur gp

could be a mix of things new surroundi.gs.different activity.different food change of medication.weather different surrondings or circumstances can change ur due date for periods i dont think it was a mosscaridge certainly doesnt sound like one im sure ur period waa just late if ur really concerned go c ur doctor and explain to him/her
