Pleaseeee help!

My period is usually very regular with no complications. I don't get cramps or feel sick or anything and it always comes the second week of the month. In August, my boyfriend and I decided I should go on birth control for extra precautions. So two weeks into taking the pill, I absolutely hated the way it made me feel. I had the worst mood swings and emotional problems ever. So I stopped taking it without finishing the cycle. My boyfriend and I went on vacation a few weeks later and we never use protection but he always pulls out, the one night we weren't sure if he pulled out soon enough so I'm not sure if he came in me or not.. A few days later I got my period. It lasted four or five days. Once we had sex after it was over, I experienced some pain in my lower abdomen during intercourse. Then a few more days later I experienced some more irregular bleeding. Today I had extreme cramping and dizziness. I almost passed out in work and my period or whatever is really heavy. I don't see the doctor for a few weeks but I'd like some answers sooner.. Can anyone make out if I've had a miscarriage or I'm pregnant or its just an after affect from the pills. Thanks

My friend had a similar experience and she called the dr. and explained what was going on, and told the dr she wasnt sure but thought she miscarried, and he said unless she fees like it is an emergency, she doesnt have to go to the er and it can wait for a routine apt, and he ordered her blood work without her even being seen, to check her hcg levels and less then a week after the period/miscarriage, her levels indicated she was not pregnant. so you might just try calling your doc and seeing if he can order blood work and go get that done to see what your levels are, cuz...going to the er for a heavy period would be a little silly, but at the same time, if you feel like it is a miscarriage, its better to be safe then sorry. good luck!

It sounds to me like it is just after effects from the pills, especially if you were having bad side effects hilst on it. I wouldnt wait for two weeks to see your doctor. Id get yourself to the emergency room asap and explain your symptoms. If anything they will be able to tell you if your suspicions are right just by performing some routine tests.
