Pregnant or Miscarring

I was a couple of days late of having my period so I took a prenancy test and it turned up a light positive. The next day I started my period 9/28. The period seemed normal. After my Period I decided to take another at home pregnancy test, it was a very light positive. For the last two weeks I have been feeling tired, bloated, tender breast and a little crampy. Today I decided to go to a clinic and do a free pregnancy test, by urine. It came up negative!!  With in 30 minutes of my visit to the clinic I started brown spotting and a little crampy. Is this normal? Am I pregnant and it is too early to detect or could I have had a miscarriage and not know it?

Thanks

i agree with steph, it sounds like a chemical pregnancy.  call you OB/GYN and get an appointment with them.

It is possible that you had a chemical pregnancy...it actually happens quite often and you don't even know you're pregnant.  Although when I was m/cing I had brownish spotting for the first time in my life...You might not ever know without blood tests...I wish I could be more help. Also different test pick up at different levels some pick up at 12 some pick up at 100, but most of them at 25...There is a site I think it is peeonastick.com that tells you about the different tests and has lots of info about them.  She also has a page about so called "false positives."

you need to go see a ob-gyn right away to see whats going on !...because if you browning spotting and cramping that is a sign of a miscarriage....make sure you inform me on everything...good luck!
