Scheduled for D & C tomorrow

We went to our final confirmation ultra sound on Friday morning and the result was what we had anticipated-- the baby stopped growing at 5 weeks and 4 days when it was supposed to be 9 weeks exactly.  It was a confirmed missed miscarriage and I am scheduled for a D & C on Monday morning.  This forum has been a big support to me since we found out our bad news last week.  Thank you all.  I feel that I am able to cope with what I am about to face tomorrow..

Hi, My husband and I have been waiting anxiously to hear how you got on! Im so sorry it wasnt good news x I dont know if this will be any comfort to you but at least you were sure that u had definatly miscarried I cant cope with the constant feeling that they were wrong cos they took me straight down for d&c. Im not sure if you have been for one before but the process is pretty straighforward (well as much as it can be for something as traumatic as this) It was actually quite a relief to me to be put to sleep for a while cos it was the only time I didnt feel the pain of my lose! I also barely bleed afterwards dont know if that will be the case  with you x They are also supposed to give u antibiotic tablet to take before you go home but my hospital forgot and my husband had to phone when we left to remind them and we had to go back up next day! I will be thinking about u tomorrow> Im so sorry again for ur lose. Our babies will be in heaven together xxx
