M/C four weeks ago...Lots of AF symptoms but no AF..?

This is an extension of my question last week.  I had a miscarriage four weeks ago.  Last week I had a spot of blood after sex but no more.  Been having period symptoms a lot, but no period.  I know it takes a while for it to come after a m/c, but was wondering if anyone had the same thing...Period cramps and symptoms but no period.
This is what happened when I found out I was pregnant.  Kept waiting for AF due to all they symptoms.  Turned out to be a pregnancy.  I did take a test a few days ago and it was negative.
Any thoughts?

It doesn't always take long my last m/c mine came a month from the day my m/c started. I have had problems before with my cycle with other m/cs. It's common having spotting after sex. If you don't get your period in like 2 cycles or so and spotting continues be sure to go get checked out you want to make sure your okay and your body is healing etc. I wish you the best. Let me know what happens!

I had my m/c on the exact same day as you did.  12/26.  That is crazy.  So you haven't started and neither have I.  Did you have a DNC?  What did you doc. say?  Mine told me that I would get my period anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks after.  I haven't and I am irritated and ready to get it.  I just want to try again.  Are you going to try again?

I was right there with you. I miscarried at the end of November and had AF symptoms for almost a month! Finally got AF 8 weeks after my miscarriage. Give it some time. If you don't get AF within 1-2 weeks call your doctor.

Also, I had a spot of blood after exercising at the 4-week mark as well and thought it was AF coming. Turns out I just did too much, too soon.

Good luck!

Hi, I am sorry for your loss.  I remember reading in a post (I think it happened to nunu) that she was getting cramps like AF was coming but never came.  It turns out her cervix had closed so the blood could not come out.  (am I right?  was it you nunu?)  It could also be that you are pregnant (if you've been having unprotected sex) and it's just too early to test yet.  It doesn't have to be a while after a m/c for AF to return, some women ovulate 2 weeks after they miscarry and have AF 2 weeks after that.  Good luck and i hope you get some answers.
