Too soon to be pregnant after miscarriage?

Hi. I miscarried two months ago. I have had one period since then, started Aug. 22.  It is now October 3 and I have not had another period. That would make me about 12 days late. I have always been very regular. I have taken 2 home preg. tests and both are positive.  Is it possible for old preg. hormones, from the mc, to give a pos. HPT and could my cycle be so out of wack that my period is this late? Is it too soon for me to be pregnant again? Thanks for your help.

once you get your period that means all your old pregnancy hormones are gone.  So that means you are pregnant again.  i would have your HCG levels taken and make sure they are rising/doubling every 2 days.  congrats and good luck.

I would say there is a good chance you are pg.  I took an HPT 3 weeks after my m/c, just to see if I would get a false positive or not.  It came back neg, so now I can be sure that when I do get that BFP, it's for real.  I agree, go to the doctor's or call your nurse.

you can get pregnant within a month of having a miscarriage. I would go to the Dr for a blood test.

Hello,
I think you should go to the doctor for a blood test. It's been 2 months...I would think that the pregnancy hormones would be gone by now...Good luck to you.
