What are my Odds?

Hi I am 37 years old.  I had a miscarriage due to a blighted ovum at 8 weeks on Sept. 11th.  I found out a few weeks ago, that I was pregnant again.
They got me right in for an ultrasound the next day due to my previous miscarriage.  The saw a gestational sack and a yolk and assumed I was about 5 weeks along.
I went in last week for a 2nd ultrasound.  They measured me at 5 weeks 4 days and there was a low heart rate of 92 bpm.  That had me a little concerned, but I know that was really early and the heart could have just started to beat.
So, they had me go in again 5 days later, which was yesterday for a 3rd ultrasound.  This time, I measured 6 weeks 2 days, but the heart rate had dropped to 82 bpm.
They decided to draw blood yesterday to check my HCG levels and I will go in again and get them checked again to see if they are rising properly.  I have absolutely no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever.  Which I also didn't have with the last miscarriage.
So, my question is, what do you think my odds are?
I'm not naive and am very realistic that this is not going to stick.  I do go in again next week for yet another ultrasound.
I just wonder how long we have to keep dragging this process out.  How long will the heart keep beating if it is dropping?
Sorry for so many different, weird questions.  I just want other people's perspective.

Do you think there is anything that I can do to help the heart rate go up or is it totally out of my hands?

It can go either way.. I know its not the answer you are looking for but as heartbeat is dropping than there's possibility that it might stop.. however it can not be confirmed until you have another u/s.. I know many babies starting off with low Heartbeat until 10wks and then boom there Heartbeat goes back to normal.. But bear you should prepare yourself for any outcome.. I am sorry you are going through this.. i was told that some babies take time to develop :)...
