What can cause this???

Hi everyone,
OK, I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped it was pink. I had my AF from 12/18 to 12/23, I have a pretty regular cycle, 28-29 days. This has never happened before. Me and DH bd'd on 12/27. Any ideas??

Thank you for your comments. I do not think that it is a uti I have no other symptoms. I'm kinda leaning towards ovulation, but it never happened to me before. I had light pink for 1 day, now it's brown????? Is this how ovulation spotting is?

                                               Thanks Lori

I agree with waiting21 it's probably left over lining from your period that probably didn't completely pass and that is what is causing the spotting also it could be a ovarian cyst. I would give your dr a call and let them know. Best wishes to you and I hope you feel better soon! Let me know what happens!

Cherie I have had a reoccuring uti for this whole yr I have to see a urologist once the baby is born I have never heard of a uti causing bleeding did that happen to you?

sounds like above poster is right..the timing would be off for you to be having a miscarriage....one other possibility besides irritation from sex would be the pink blood can be an early sign of a urinary tract infection...other symptoms of this include difficulty voiding..burning durning urination or frequent urge to pee...if this happens you will need to see doctor for antibiotics...

Sometimes bd'ing can irritate the cervic and cause some spotting.  Based on the calendar you are likely ovulating soon, right?   I have read that there can be some ovulation spotting.
