after miscarriage

How long after a miscarriage does it take for ur hormone levels to go down? I had a miscarriage on the 19th of August and d&c that next week....been ttc and didn't know if I could get a positive test because of the miscarriage still or because I could be pregnant.  Or is it still too soon?

Natural mc take time however docs always say tht wait 1 cycle b4 trying. Tht gives ur body sometime to settle down. But some women tend to start trying straight away n end up being pregnant. It depends on women to women. I had mc in dec 11 my pregnancy test showed negative. I had 2 periods spotting n very light. Bt my 3-4 were miserable almost as if i ws going thru another mc. I ws 72kg went straight back to 68kg. It was all blood storedinside me. So it took time 4 me to settle down.

Sorry for your loss, I had a miscarriage on the 22nd of August & have been trying to get the same information, but I had a natural miscarriage. But from what I've heard (not 100% sure if it's true) but after a D&C your hormones go back to 0 almost immediately. But I'm not sure if you would test positive at this point in time even if you are. If I were you I'd would take one and if it is positive, go to the doctor, and get an blood test done. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.:)
