I bled at 20weeks with my daughter.  It was bright red however.  I went it to the ER and all was fine.  It put my mind at rest.
With my second pregnancy I began having brown colored discharge , not much just like normal discharge but tinged brown.  Knowing that "brown means old" put my mind to rest and I didn't worry too much.  I had an apt 2 days later (my normal monthly apt) and told the dr. I had this brownish discharge very scant for the last two days.  She reasured me as well that this was common and nothing to worry about.  Come to find out.....my baby had passed away.  There was no heartbeat.  I don't intend to scare you, only help educate you.  It's always best to get checked, each woman AND experience is different.  Any bleeding you should insist on being checked.  I know that bleeding this early and expecially brown is very common, but in some cases such as my own this was the first sign of my miscarriage.  I will say some prayers for you that all goes well and that everything is fine.  As for going in, I would just to put YOUR mind at ease.  The less stress the best.  Please keep me posted, best of luck!

First off, brown blood is old, so that is a great sign!  and second, bleeding in early pregnancy is pretty normal.  Just rest as much as possible, feet up, and make sure to call your doctor.  You probably wouldn't want to do heavy lifting either.

Good luck!  and hang in there!!
