hi i had a miscarriage on the 14th of nov this year but ive noticed that i'm gaining weight 3 kgs in the last 3 weeks.my weight has been the same for the past year and i'm not eating differently.preg tests come up neg so dont think i still preg.do hcg levels disapear after time even if you are still preg as i just cant fathom why i'm gaaining weight as it is just around my stomuch nowhere else.has anyone else experienced this after a miscarriage?i was 7 weeks when i lost it so would be around 12 weeks now.

hi,thanks for the advice.i did have blood test done and was told my hcg level had gone down to 64 a week after mc and pt comes back neg.might go to doc just in case.thanks again

Have you had your hcg levels checked lately? I know after my m/c I gained some weight, but I know some was due to stress/depression. But I know it was also partly due to the hormones. If you havent had your hcg checked lately I would call your MD to let them know.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know that when I have a major stress in life I either gain a large amount of weight or lose a lot. After I lost my home to a hurricane I gained 40 lbs...but after I lost my baby I lost down to 6 lbs less than I weighed before I got pregnant. It could still be from hormones though, but if you are getting a BFN on your test then I would go to the dr. to make sure you don't have a small amount of hormones left.
