I don't know the probability but the first time I miscarried, I chose not to wait for AF and started trying as if the miscarriage was my AF and I got pregnant within two weeks with twins!!! This time same thing happened again, I miscarried on 9th April but was using OPK so knew I was ovulating around May8th and got pregnant again. Sadly this one is ectopic and so now I have to wait three months before TTC because of the drug they gave me.

It is personal choice, the research says that no one knows why MC happen and nothing can be done to prevent them. There is no research to suggest that not waiting for AF increases after a MC. For some people, like me, a MC is easier to deal with if you get right back on the tast at hand.

Good Luck x

Hi Lesha
I miscarried april 13th.  I decided I didn't want to fall pregnant straight after so I waited until my first cycle.  I got opk's and checked my cm.  We fell pregnant the next month and I am almost 6 weeks.  I spoke to my doctor and she said that it is best to wait atleast 3 months to better cope emotionally.  I did have a natural miscarriage and did not need any medical intervention.  I am still petrified about miscarrying again but only time will tell.  I have to try and stay positive and feel blessed each day I am pregnant.  I hope that helps but yes it is possible to fall pregnant within 3 months of a miscarriage.

Everyone body is different. I lost my son at 6.5 months..then 5 months later found out I was preg again, and had a m/c at 5 wks. Do you know why you had the M/C? Did your doc do a D&C? IF you are trying to get prego fast, I would say speak to your doc, they maybe able to give you some type of fertility medication like Clomid, that may help. I am sorry about your loss. Best of luck!
