Hcg levels and pregnancy
Is there any danger if you get pregnant after a m/c and your hcg levels are still up. I took pregnancy test and it is still positive, i took ovulation test and it is positive. I dont have follow up apptmnt until tuesday. I was just wondering since there are some women who conceived after a m/c.

I am not completely sure, but as far as I know, I don't think you can become pregnant again if your levels are still up...meaning above 2 because, then that means everything has not passed completely and you will have to have it removed. Your doc should monitor your levels to make sure they have gone back done or else you could run into problems. You will most likely keep getting positives until everything has passed and your levels return to normal, but your doc should monitor you and make sure of all these things. In the mean time, I would not try to get pregnant until you get the go ahead from your doc or until your levels return to normal. But it is possible to conceive again right after a miscarriage (it's probably best to wait a cycle or 2). It happened with me when I miscarried at 5 weeks. a week later my levels were normal and the following week I became pregnant again. Unfortunately m/c again at 10 weeks. Good luck!! I'm sure you will get another bfp and have a healthy pregnancy! <3
