misdiagnosed miscarriage hcg level doubled

Here's my story its quite confusing to be honest my head is all the place. My last period was 29/12/09 took pregnancy test on the 27 Jan positive pregnancy test.  started to bleed like a period n clots on the 1st Feb went to hospital and had a scan nothing to be seen,  Took my hcg levels 4/02/10 was 71  6/02/10 was 127 08/02/09 was 254 have to go back for re-scan this is such a roller coaster ride all the waiting is driving me insane, has anybody else had this same situation and still were pregnant i cant understand why my hcg levels are doubling ? x

Thank you, yeah i still feel pregnant, still feel sick, tired and my boobs are so sore hormones are all over.. fingers crossed.. its all a waiting game and it makes you really anxious im praying its not eptopic as i have already lost one tube in May 09 through eptopic pregnancy x

I haven't had that happen, but is it possible that the baby was too small to see?  My last period was 12/30/2009 and tomorrow I'll be 6 weeks, at 6 weeks it's just a small bean.  Since your numbers are doubling try to relax.  Do you feel pregnant?  

Some women do bleed in early pregnancy and have healthy beautiful babies.  Try to relax until you know what's really going on.
