Hey, just thought i'd let you know i've just had this happen to me, you seem to be going through the same thing, i where suppose to be 9-10weeks gone by my dates, but went for an ultrasound i had the vaginal wand, and only measured 6weeks, which i where confused about?, on the scan, the doc couldn't decide wheather she could see a heartbeat or not, and told me to come back in a week, so when i came back for a second scan, she said that there is no heartbeat and the fetus doesn't seem to be growing but the sack is. at this point i knew it wasn't right, after i put my clothes back on, the doc handed me a ''missed miscarriage' booklet, she said we can either book you in for a d&c , or if you want you can wait another week and we can see if theres any changes in another week, i where suppose to go back on the friday 11th feb, but on thursday 10th late that night i started heavy bleeding and had to goto hospital, the doc said its the first stage of the baby and sac coming away, later friday afternoon, i had a DNC.
just thought i'd let you know about it, as the things you have described are what i had at the start. i hope your not having a missed miscarriage i hope your pregnancy is healthy, and just running a little late,
your in my prayers and i hope everything turns out to be fine x
no woman deserves to go through a miscarriage, i never thought it would happen to me, but it shows things like that can happen to anybody, but just remember whatever happens, and as hard as it may seem, but if things dont go right, maybe it just wasn't suppose to happen yet, but i hope in the future you get the bundle of joy you deserve x
I agree that is very unlikely. I don't think you would ovulate again while you still had products of conception in your body. It is likely a missed miscarriage and you will need to have a D&C or continue to utilize expectant management until your body begins to miscarry on its own. Please see a doctor to protect your healthy and for your safety.
I am sorry this has happened and I wish you good luck.
I'm sorry. It is very unlikely that it's a viable pregnancy if the baby measured 8 - 9 weeks with no heartbeat. Unfortunately, it can take your body awhile to realize that the baby has died. You can ask for blood tests 2 days apart to check your beta hcg levels -- if they are dropping, the pregnancy is ending. Best of luck.
