no heart beat

Confirmed pregnant by doc 7wks went for a scan the following week on wed
8 wks seen baby & heart beat.. had light bleeding & lil clot on fri night went to emerg room at local hospital they did nothing much but take my blood & made me wait 5 hrs also referred me to the early pregnancy assessment unit at hospital they couldnt see me until following wed 9 wks where I had more blood taken a scan where they told me nothing & showed me nothing went to hospital doc how there told me they found no heart beat. . I lil confused should I get a second opinion still Have all pregnancy symptoms I had before was told to wait a week to pass baby natural or gad other options.. Is there a possibility the there may still be a heart beat or am I just holding on to false hope.. please help....

I am kind of in the same situation. But i dont have any bleeding nor cramps. Doc has advised dnc

I would definitely get a 2nd opinion. At the 9wk appointment did they do a vaginal ultrasound? That could make a difference in seeing a heartbeat or not. Sorry you have to go through this, hang in there i hope it all turns out for you.
