ovulation??

OK. we are finally at the point to start to try again.  I tried the ovulation test today, and I am not yet, but my question is...when i take the test in the morning and it finally says I am ovulating when exactley do we have sex...that morning?  Or the next?  i know they say to do it every other day, is that right, or should we try every day.  this is the first time we are trying again.  i got my first period after the loss...then I had my second this month...I really wanted to make sure my body was healthy and ready so now we are, and I am confused!!  Anyone know what is correct?

I have sex everyday!  It has worked 6 times for me so far with the longest we tried was 2 months.  I have heard every other day is good, but DH must have plenty of sperm.  I'm going to buy the saliva test thing if I don't get pregnant this cycle.  Those ovulation sticks never did work for me and I can't hold my pee that long:)  GL this cycle!

Hi If you go on the net and go to Ovulation Calendar if will show you the date you need to be trying try not to stress I had a MC in Jan 07 and due to stressing too much I am still trying hopefully wont take a long for you but do try not to think of it too much as it really doesnt help

thankyou!  i finally got a positive on the ovulation this morning! So I guess it is "baby dance" and wait!  It is so funny, after everything a couple months ago, I was waiting and waiting for my period, then when I first got it I was so happy...then i remember how much they really do hurt!  But stress is such a big factor.  hopefully your sis will get yours into movement with that whole female bonding and hormone thing.  Well good luck to you as well and in my prayers...all of you!

I think baby dance is sex, if im not mistaken, sounds like that is a 31 day cycle.  Dont feel bad i had to read some stuff over and over to understand it and also i ask my dr a lot of questions about things when i go to appointments, the more you research the more you learn.  The more you ask other women the more you learn also.  Well i hope this month is your month, i will keep my fingers crossed for you.  If you dont get a BFP, just start taking your temps in the mourning before you get out of bed(look up bbt charting) this site has a ovulation tracker to help you track ovulation.

I am currently waiting on my cycle to start since my d&c, i was hoping if my sister got her cycle it would make mine come, but i think with the stress of my d&c i have caused her cycle to be late.

Baby dance hugh???
I am actually trying to not stress too much.  As bad as I want to be pregnant again, summer here is so short lived and we took our horses out again for like 10 miles in the beautiful mountains of Wyoming.  I figure these are things I just wont be able to do while preggo.
As far as my husband being healthy, I guess you all are the ones to share things with.  This week he was asking me when I should ovulate and what to do and getting really excited, then 2 hours later he called and asked what it means if he is peeing straight blood.  I almost had a heart attack...I mean how much else are we supposed to take ya know?  Well we went to the hospital and they took blood test which we got back the next day, and she said it didn't look toward cancer.  thank god!  So they did a cat scan...we are still waiting on the results, which they believe are kidney stones.  painful yes, but i was relieved.  So much so, that in the drs. offfice I asked if we could still 'try" this week.  I think he wanted to kill me because that was the first thing I asked.  But I mean, just a break for us is all we want.  So hopefully the results are ok and everything is fine...except for when he has to pass those stones...but I just realize more and more to live each day as it comes.  But don't for one sec think i am not going to get up and try my ovulation test before he leaves for work!!!  :)    

So as I started to say...baby dance???

no you do not have to wait a day.  some people think it is better to wait til every other day to give the sperm time to rebuild but if you hubby is pretty healthy, then there is not problem with having sex 2 days in a row.  don;t stress, that is the wosrt thing you can do if TTC.  just relax, enjoy it and have fun while trying.

just try to Baby dance before ovulation, the day of and the day or 2 after.  i did before, the day of and the very next day and got pregnant again.

I feel like you guys know so much more than i do about all this.  i read everyones questions, but I guess since this is all still new to be I am learning slowly.  I do read all the stuff on the internet and the directions, but it always seems so much more confusing than it really is!  I am still not ovulating, tomorrow will be day 14 and my last cycle was well i got my period on the 8th of June and then the eight of july (a 31 day month) so is my cycle considered 30 or 31 days?  Also, the thing I was worried about is that we were having sex before I ovulated, but what if we did have sex the day before the test was positive?  Aren't you supposed to wait a day for the sperm to restore or something???  it is all so confusing when you read so much!

yes you want to have sex the same day.  ideally you should even be having sex prior to and after that day also.  it helps increase your chances of having those little spermy's waiting as your egg is released. good luck

I would have sex that day(some of the ovulation kits when its positive means your going to ovulate anywhere between 24-48 hours, it depends on the brand you have and what it says on the box) and the next two days, but everybody is different, I new my body so well, i only had sex one day, when my test said positive i didnt have sex that day, i did it the next day and that was it, but since i had a m/c im going to do it in the way i just told you.  Some people do it that whole week.
