pregnant after a miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage on March 16th and a D&C that day. My recovery went well so my husband and I started trying again 3 days after. As my doctor said we can start when I'm emotionally ready. Well its been 7 weeks and we have been trying every other day since my miscarriage and no sign of a period. I've been feeling mild cramps like my period is about to come (but it doesn't) like in my first pregnancy. I feel nauseated sometimes. On May 3rd I started having this light brown discharge when I wipe. It comes and goes. What could that be? And is there a big possibility I'm pregnant? If you had a miscarriage when did you start your period?

First i am so sorry for your loss...I had the same thing happen, but the doctor figured it was just my AF (a very light one). I still had all the symptoms of being pregnant, my doctor even sent me for bloodwork and an ultrasound. It took 9.5 weeks after my emergency D&C to finally get a somewhat real AF. They say it can take from 4-12 weeks for your cycle to return...Good luck in your ttc journey!!

I also had a d&c on 4/2 on an emergency basis after being told of miscarriage on 3/30. I just got af on 5/1 but was not like my normal pre-pregnancy af. My fiance and i are also ttc again and hoping to fall this month. All i can really say is take a test because you can ovulate after mc and fall pregnant in the first couple weeks. I wish you the best of luck.
