brown usually means old blood!  It is possible that it is what is left over from this morning!  If you had an ultrasound this morning and everything was ok, I would think it was ok now.  I would wait til tomorrow and if you are still steadily spotting then call your dr and see what he/she wants you to do.  Good luck!  I hope everything works out!  Keep me posted.

The only thing I know to tell you is to stay on bed rest until you can get up with your regular doctor and go in to be seen and see if they will check out and maybe find out why you are bleeding are you RH Negative by any chance

Just sending some *hugs* your way.  I am in a similar boat.  I'm 12 weeks pregnant, and got pregnant with this one immediately following a m/c in May.  I started spotting at 9 weeks and it has continued off and on since then.  This weekend, I had a large bleed with bright red blood (first time this pregnancy) and lost some clots.  It turned to brown and tapered off over the next day.  I got into the doctor yesterday and had two u/s on two different machines, and the doctor and u/s tech could not find anything wrong.  Baby looks healthy and is growing like it should, good heart rate, etc.  So I don't know how to make you feel any better, but I just want you to know you're not alone.  It's terrifying, especially after having experienced a loss already.  I hope everything turns out okay for us both.  *Hugs*
