possible miscarriage? please read.

I was having pregnancy symptoms (fuller breast, erect nipples, tingling in the breast, faint headaches, nauseous, and tired) and my period was late. A couple of days after my missed period, I started to spot .. brown spot at first, then a lighter than normal flow for two days with front and back cramps (usually 7 days long and at least 2 days of heavy) and stopped except on the toilet paper when I go to the bathroom. When I did go to the bathroom during the 2 day of bleeding, I had blood cot discharges almost everytime and occassional lining. Nothing on the panty liner for about two days then some more brown discharge on my panty for one day then stopped. All symptoms have stopped as soon as I started bleeding except for the erect nipples, which has been present for about 2 weeks now. Home pregnancy and blood tests are negative. I

Could I have had miscarried before I had a positive pregnancy test? And why are my nipples still erect?

Thanks for responding ... I wouldn't be worry if I usually have these symptoms prior to PMSing, but don't other than bloating, which I didn't even get. And I am as regular as regular can be ... so it is just sooo out of the norm. Thanks.

Many miscarriages happen before getting a positive pregnancy test.  However they happen so early in pregnanyc that I would count it as a regular period.
Also regular PMS symptoms include the symptoms that you described, yuo could've just been late and had a weird period.  It happens.
