possible miscarry for unkown pregnancy

I was hoping to find out if i have had a possible miscarry for an unknown preegnancy. My period was 3weeks late and i did take a pregnancy test but it came up negative. When i finally got my period it was extremely painful, heavy, quite alot of large clots and lasted 9 days. My period is normally regular lasts 5-6 days with only 2 days of heavier bleeding but nothing like the bleeding i was getting. I currently have a 5 month old bub and have been using contreception. He has been fussy at the breast for last few weeks which made me think my milk was changing. I got my period 8 weeks after his birth and its been regular since then apart from this last one. If i did miscarry do i need a curette? Will it affect breastfeeding?

I can't be 100% sure but I think I went through the same thing (although the period wasn't like yours). We were TTC naturally and Nov 07 I was late. Nauseous as all heck. Test said negative. But just didn't feel right. Kept taking tests it said no. Then I got my period. I always wonder if I was really pregnant and it didn't take. Part of me is very, very glad that if I was, it ended that way so I didn't realize what happened.

I finally became pregnant in 08 and the nausea was the same thing. Just this weird feeling. We had to do Clomid, IUI, trigger to get my son. Natural just didn't seem to work right.

Sorry for your loss. I wish every woman could have a quick, easy, and safe pregnancy.

Hello,
It sounds like you did have a miscarriage for an unknown pregnancy. I found out I was pregnant on Friday, about a week after I should of gotten my period. Yesterday I found out I was having a miscarriage. My doctor said it happends to many women...they dont even know they are pregnant and get what they think is their period but in reality it is a miscarriage. I dont know if it will affect breastfeeding...I would see your ob/gyn.
