It bothers me when doctors don't at least offer to do an ultrasound to make sure everything is alright. If it would make you feel better and keep you from stressing, then maybe you should call your doctor's office and request an ultrasound. Your doctor is probably right and it is nothing, but bleeding during pregnancy is always scary so it is always nice to check it out and confirm that it is nothing. Good luck. I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

hi,
i dont want to scare you but i had a miscarriage 4 week ago, i started with a constant pain on the sunday night and on the monday i went docs they said it was normal but i knew it wasnt when i went toilet that night there was blood when i wiped not alot though i was sent for an emergancy scan the next morning and there was no heart beat i lost my baby the following week. although alot of women have bleeding or spotting through out their pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies i have a couple of friends who bleed or had spotting and their babies were just fine. i would advise if you start with pains or have any more bleeding go to docs or hospital who will then refer u to the early preg clinic to have a scan to just check that everything is ok,
good luck alyssa hope everything goes ok x
