sick with worry

I went to the Docotor yesterday for my second U/S and the first U/S we saw Gestational sac and yolk sac but not much else.  Then yesterday, week later we saw Gestational sac and Yolk sac and small fetal pole but no Heartbeat.  My Doctor then took blood and my levels were high 28000 but Dr is worried that I am still miscarriaging.  Has anyone gone through something similiar??  I also don't feel like I have as many preganany symptoms.........

I am, we think, 6 weeks and I had 2 ultrasounds done already....I am hopeful for next week for another U/S that we will see a different picture....we did see yolk sac and small fetal pole but the Dr wanted to see more at this stage.  Thanks for the words of encouragement.  I feel fine and don't have any cramping or bleeding......  :)  thanks!

How many weeks did the dr say you were? It sounds like it could be too early to tell. But just in case, steel yourself for the possibility that the dr is right. My first u/s also confirmed that I was about to miscarry. Not the nicest thing to hear is it  :(  Unlike you I'd already started spotting before my first exam and had pain. Best of luck and hang in there.
