I just got back from having the u/s. after the dr telling me two weeks ago he has been doing his job for 10 years and is sure my ovary will need to be removed.. he said it was not what he thought. it was a big huge cyst that was the size of my ovary and its now gone. totally gone!!!!! I asked what the black dots were on the ovary and he said a whole lot of eggs. he then looked at my other ovary and there were plenty of eggs in the one as well.
he said i can go ahead and TTC. that is the first time a dr has given me to go ahead since the m/c.. not that i listed in the first place but its was sure nice to hear it. he asked me if i knew about OPK's. i said i used them this month but only half the test line was close in color to the reference line. he said because I had such a big cyst on that ovary i probably didnt ovulate. oh i so hope that this will be the start of good new rather than constant bad new.
thank you all for your support and kind words of encouragement. I cant tell you how you have all helped me! the first thing i did when i got home was get on the computer to tell you all

yes this was definitely good new and now i cant wait for the great news!!!!

Bam- everyone gets cysts when they ovulate but they usually go away and dont even know they had one because there was no pain felt.
but there are a few different kinds of cysts. he was very surprised when he didnt see it there yesterday as he though he had diagnosed the correct kind.  
I wish I had asked if there is a chance of it coming back. i dont even know if this huge one he thought was something else was the same kind as the first one that was there. I didnt get to phone the nurse today but ill phone tomorrow and put that question on my list.

Honestly, I would go with the Answer brand.  You know that they work right?  And you don't want to take any chances.

I have my RE appt in 12 days, so I'll ask her about the EPO - I was going to bring all my vitamin bottles with me, so she can see exactly what I am taking and making DH take :)

I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about cysts.  Will they continually come back?  Do you have pain when you have them?  How do you know they are there?  Just curious.  I guess that would be a good thing for me to google tonight.

Off Topic - I had my last class on Tuesday, I'm officially free for the next 4 weeks!!  I am so excited not to have to do homework this weekend I hardly know what to do with myself.  Already I'm trying to decide what is going to be the first book I'm going to read!!  I did register for next semester today and believe that starts the week of Jan 5th.

I was going to ask about EPO but forgot when I heard the good news. I was so shocked that it had gone that i just couldn't think. I am going to phone the nurse to ask her what kind of cyst it was so i can read up about it .if you want ill ask her a question about it if you want.

I got my opks at early-pregnacy tests.com. I dont know much about them. i think i used Answer the last time i got preggers and got a definite positive. I have 9 left but think ill go and get a box of Answer as well.

yes i do have pre-seed left. for the two weeks we thought the ovary was going to be taken out we didnt BD that much. last month we started too soon just because we were in te mood for BDing then by the time we needed to BD we didnt feel like it. i think this month im going to hold off until at least i get a positive on the opk
