Hey guys does any of you had experienced irregular spotting going on and off after 3 weeks of miscarriage? i had my bleeding completely stopped before 2weeks after my d&c was done. Now me and DH are having intercourse almost every other night i dont know if it has anything to do with the irregular spotting.. anybody had this kind of problem or had experienced the same...?

Hi all

I do remember after my miscarriage I bled very heavy for a week, a normal period during the second week and spotted for another week.  When my first af came after my miscarriage it started light and then was just a normal af like nothing happened.  I hope you get your bfp's soon :)

I bled for only about 5 days after my d&c, though light spotting continued off and on for about another week.  Yesterday I started spotting again, and today I'm pretty sure AF started.  It's been exactly 4 weeks since my d&c.

I think it is normal to have spotting for up to 4 weeks after a d&c, abnd plus if you are having sex that can cause it, too.  I was told to wait 4 weeks (though we only waited about 10 days), and I did feel that sex sometimes caused my spotting.

I've not had that experience personally. I had a D&C and after 2 weeks stopped bleeding. I have heard of others experiencing this though with a natural miscarriage. I think as long as there is no cramping or heavy bleeding or clots you are fine. Just let your doctor know at your next visit so they can make sure all the tissue is gone.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Take care.
