when will the mc end??

SO i officially mc on july 4th, then continued to have cramping until july 7th and then passed what appreared to be the sac.. we were 9.5 weeks preg with a blighted ovum... so my question is, my cramping has completely stopped and the bleeding i feel like was never that heavy(only when i would go to the bathroom, granted i prob did that several times an hour!) however i went in for a follow up ultrasound on friday (my beta ws 289) and there is still a bit of blood left in the uterus.. but not much bleeding and whats there is dark brown (old blood) ...is your first period after a mc really heavy typically? is that when the rest comes out ? ( sorry tmi!)   dh and i have been unable to bd foreeever, since we were a high risk preg...is it safe to start bd now?   will the bleeding just be slow for weeks adn weeks more?? ANY advice is GREATLY appreciated thank you!

Hi, sorry for your loss

I have natural m/c on the 23rd june, I bleed for 7 days that was the start to the finish, I have had no period since but it has only been 3 weeks.  I done HPT about a week ago and it showed negative which is a good sign that my hormone level has dropped.  I ovulated 14 days from the bleed so im hoping I don't get a period.

I have spoken to my GP and they said it's fine to have intercourse but you have to wait for the bleeding to completely stop so you don't get an infection. They also told me it is safe to concieve after a m/c.

Good luck x

Hi, i'm really sorry for your loss.

I had a natural miscarriage on the 11th June and i've been bleeding or spotting for the past 5 weeks. I am having an ultrasound to see if i need a d&c on wednesday but not likely as when tested my HCG levels were 12. My doctor said it is normal to bleed or spot for up to six weeks after a natural miscarriage - any longer than that and you need to see a specialist.
I haven't had my regular cycle yet but my doctor said the first few periods after my miscarriage may be lighter or heavier than normal - everyone's different.

Hope this was some help.
