Yes, I am so tired I can barely move. I also agree about the valium, good analogy, hangover and feeling like molasses. If I've got to feel that way? Might as well get it the honest way, a nice glass of wine.
willow,
i'm so sorry to hear about all of this.
i sure hope that extra help pulls through soon for you, until then try to find a quiet moment each day to decompress...even just 5 minutes lying down or if you are inclined to meditate.
best of luck and i hope you glide through unscathed and that hubby gets well again soon.

What a double whammy - so sorry to hear about both medical complications happening at once. Call the doctor, please - don't try to soldier through this on you own.
take care, Lulu
So sorry about your hubbys fall and you not feeling well. Please watch over yourself and "try" to take it easy,
Michelle
I'm so sorry to read this. Stress is bad for MSers, but it doesn't automatically mean a flare. Please take care of yourself.

Oh ((hugs)) I hope you feel better and that your DH recovers quickly!

Hi Willow
I am sorry that your hubbie has gashed his head and it sounds quite serious if he is requiring additional care. I think it is important to also take care of yourself and ensure that you do not overdo things as you do not want to go into a full relapse.
With love
Sarah
Hi, Willow, is DH ill AND he fell so he has a head injury and an illness?
Yes, it sounds like you may maybe entering an exacerbation. Also, are you more fatigued than usual on top of this with making sure that hubby is okay?
I can't see that valium is a good choice here because it is so sedating and can cause hangovers. I feel like I'm walking through molasses when I take valium. Are you anxious?
I agree, do let your docs know what you're going through. Try to pinpoint what the real problem is fatigue, depression, zaps, anxiety. That way the doctor can focus on trying to help the real problem.
I vote for ungashing hubby's head.
Take care.

what meds? I'm on copaxone, and mecclizine. I do have valium I can take if I HAVE to, but don't like how I feel afterwards so I don't.
Yes, stress plays a huge part in MS. I finally told my doctor that stress and anxiety was making things worse for me. Even a happy stress can wear me out...like the birth of the grandbabies over the last months. The meds do help . Maybe talk to your doctor about them
