Acthar Gel???

Hi all-I haven't been around this forum in a long time (I guess the longer I avoided things about MS, the less I would have MS??)

Anyway, I have been on Copaxone for about a year and a half.  For the last couple of months, I've been having issues with BM's (only go once or twice a week) and also problems with my legs. If I've been on my feet all day at work, my legs and feet will cramp all night. Also, I can't do a lot of walking without my legs (especially the right one) turning to jelly. My husband and I try to walk around our community each night which is only 0.7 miles and by the end he is practically carrying me.

The neuro said she thinks that maybe I am in a relapse.  Rather that putting me on IV Solumedrol, which would require me to walk around with an IV lock in my arm for a week, she wants to try Acthar Gel for 7 days, which she has seen good results with.

Has anyone tried this? I am not looking forward to IM injections of a gel, but if it works what the heck!

Thanks Wobbly
I have checked other MS boards and found a number of people who have used it, and there have been no negative responses. In fact, symptoms have cleared in as little as 2 days.  Therefore, I am surprised that no one on this board has responded about using it.

Just waiting on the delivery and we'll see how it goes.

Thanks again.
