HI HONEY AND WELCOME BACK!!! You sound pretty darn good and I am so happy that your body seems to have decided to cooperate for a while!
Now I hope that things start to work out for your son and I don't see how things could turn out anyway but the right way with you backing him up with your postive attitude and all the positive power you are getting from your friends here back at home!
Glad to have you back home and Just so you know...I have a nephew that is 13 and going through some tough times as well...we will back them up and we will all get through these bumps on the road...I can feel it!
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
welcome back carol ...........
hugs
I did not know I missed you. But, your being back has shown me that I was missing you. I have recently started posting and reading via this forum. Nice to meet you.
BTW: I have been praying for someone; I did not know why. It must have been for your son. I have 13 year old boy too.
I am so glad you are out of that wheelchair and doing better! I have already said a prayer for your son and your family. I have a 10 year old son who thinks he's 15 so I can sympathize. (It seems kids really grow up too fast anymore).
I am doing OK. I went to urgent care for ear pain that I have had on and off since January because I had recently started running a fever also. I ended up coming away with a referral to Neuro #4 because apparently the pain is neurogenic and not from infection. (which is what N#1 had told in Jan.) This urgent care doc had done numerous rotations w/Neuro #4 and really went on about how great he is.
I know....I just swore off neurologists. The last one charged my insurance $370 to give me a diagnosis of hemiplegic migraine....(I WISH-lol). It's too bad that we don't live closer and I could try out your doctor.
The forum here definitely hasn't been the same without all of your uplifting posts! I'm so glad you've made it out of that relapse! I guess everything else turned out ok w/your colonoscopy too?
Welcome Back & Be Well!
Stacey
hi, i'm rather new here, but i just wanted you to know i don't need to know you to want and will pray for you and your son.i have three of my own, and my middle one gave me great worry for a time.i prayed do much, and God did answer, at first i didn't like his answer cause it hurt me, not just him, but His plan worked out wonderfully.
Today he is the son that owns my heart the most.He cares so much for how I'm doing everyday. and people come to me all the time telling me how dear he is.I think they do that more because of their surprise of discovering that this percied, tatooed guy is so far from scary! I am very proud of him, but still wish he'd draw on paper instead of himself!!
you keep beleiving that this is a season with your troubles and concern for your son.
I will pray.i'm so glad your feeling better, and will pray you stay that way for a long time.
You need some prayes.... you got it!!! As for the flares. Yep. The episode I had 4 years ago that they said was viral menengitis...it lasted 10 weeks.... 8 weeks longer than it should for Viral Men. Anyway. I woke up one morning in July completely unable to function. This went on for weeks. I couldn't take a shower without having to take nap when I was done etc
then in september I woke up one morning completely fine!!! I'm in limbo land. I would say this episode came on sudden and everyday when I wake up I listen to what my body has to say because it will generally tell me which part of me is going to have hard time that day... then the next day that part is fine and it's something els. It's werid.
I have a lot of pain in my feet so I truely know the relief you feel right now. I hope it stays that way!
Lot's of prayers

Hi,
Welcome back. Am so glad that the pain in your feet has gone. That will make things so much better for you.
Will pray for your son.
Sally
So glad to hear from you. I will pray for you and your son. You were here for me when my son went missing in Spet and prayed me through it. I will be praying every moment for your son. With the Lords help you both will get through this. So glad your symptoms and pain are gone. Got to get the wheels rollin'. Hugs and prayers. Maggie
It's nice to be missed. I'm not sure my family would notice right away. hahaheehee
Elaine, I'm very glad to here from ya'll also. How is Craig doing? Anything new with the doctors? Yes I do get spasms in my feet all the time, but the flares I've had both times my feet felt like I was walking on glass or sharp tacks. That's why I couldn't put any pressure on them. I cried almost every time I did.
Quix, I thought I was weird, so it's good to know that this is a normal thing with the flares to come and go quickly.
How is SOONERMOM? My fellow Okie, I do hope your doing okay.
I'll be praying,
Carol
I am soooo glad to see you, Sweetie! I have missed you so much. Yes, I have often heard of symptoms arriving all of a sudden and then going away just as suddenly. So good to know you are okay, but I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your son. He will be in my thoughts.
And SOONERMOM showed up again, too, today. The family is all coming 'round.
(((HUGS))) Quix
Welcome back Carol. Craig and I missed hearing from you!! We will pray for you and your son. I hope things turn out well for him.
I was especially happy to hear that your flare has gone away. I truly hope that the pain stays away. Does the neuro know why your feet hurt? When Craig complains that his feet hurt every day, I can feel knots or spasms on the soles of his feet. I have often wondered what it is. Are your feet similar to that? I always thought, before Craig got sick, that MS only involved leg pain. I am learning otherwise though.
So take care and it was great hearing from you.
Elaine
