I for one am not surprised. Their scheduling system seems like their patient software.
It was supposed to help the doctors/nurses see more of a complete patient picture so they can better diagnose/treat you. though, how many times have you been there and a doctor/nurse has no clue to your health big picture?
just the other day, while gettting the h1n1 shot, the nurse asked if i was up to date with my titnus and pnuemonia shots. i said, "i don't know, you have my records ther on your computer screen what does it say?". she said make an appt with your PCP to see about that!!
she either didn't want to look or didn't know how. either way, just more frustration for health care.
so, with that said, i can see why the scheduling has you out of balance. though, it is such a huge system and some the people that work there, well, the last thing they care about is you ... so i'm thinking, if you got them on the same day consider yourself lucky... although i know first hand how difficult that is.
cheers and hope it goes well for you. the ladies here had some good wisdom on making use of your time.
Hey there. Hope your weekend is going ok and you are getting some relief
from some of you miserable sx.
Ditto for me too. i hopoe they can schedule your appts for a more
resonable time (provinding they have some kind of compassion :) )
they can usually twist and move things.
Let us know on Monday if you had some success.
I'll be thinking about you and hoping these "Positive Vibes" I am sending
your way will help push things right through!
Hugs,

Lu,
I don'tusually take the Interstate to Nashville, it is horrible most of the time. I take the Natchez Trace Parkway (A National Park) which has basically no traffic until I get about 10 miles from the VA. Then it is all city traffic. It is the Trace where I see the deer most of the time. Of course this time of year I don't see any as they are all held up in the woods having fawns.
The only time the Trace route is bad is when you hit nashville at school opening and closing times as there are several schools in Nashville along the route. The 9:00AM has me hitting the area about 1 hour after the schools open and the 5:40PM time would have me heading out of Nashville long after the schools closed.
All,
Thanks for the kind words. Worst case is that I would have them cancel one of the appointments and reschedule it for another day.

Yeah, I saw that too Nd it wasn't nice at all... I hope they can work it out to shorten your day, and if not try not to stress about it too much,
maybe it will be nice out and you can park somewhere nice and take a nap in between... Bring pillows and a comfy blanket and maybe snacks a book and rest away... Sorry about that rude comment before... You didn't deserve that...
I wont say much about the missing rude post, but i was really mad at the stupidity of the man, nuff said!
I sure hope you can get an earlier medical appt, i can imagine you'd be liquified by the time it comes around if you dont, fingers crossed you can!
Cheers........JJ
D- wouldn't it be nice if you can get them both moved toward mid-day - that would give you time to travel to Nashville and back with avoiding the rush hour traffic on the interstate on both ends.
good luck with employing reasoning with the schedulers.
Lu
Wow!!! I hope it works out for you!!!
