Anyone in Charlotte, NC are have a MS spec. rec?

I have been seeing a wonderful neuro for almost 4 years although I feel we have some to the end of our search together. Dr. X does not seem to support my search for a dx and feels that I should just learn to live with my sx.  I am awaiting the results of my LP and have high hopes that they will show something to point us in a direction.  I don't believe Dr. X is specifically an MS spec. so I would be interested in getting a second opinion.  Does anyone have a rec for an MS spec in the Charlotte, NC area or surrounding areas?  I would be willing to travel if needed.  I know I can head up to Chapel Hill or Duke but was hoping to stay closer to home.  Thanks for your help!

Coming to Duke or UNC probably will not help. We only have one MS Specialist at UNC and that Doctor is into research. The 2 Specialists at Duke are swamped because we have more than 5000 diagnosed with MS in this area of the State and so few Doctors. I waited 8 months to get in with my Specialist at Duke when I was newly diagnosed. Last year he was so busy I saw him once. Also Duke is expensive even with insurance because you have to pay the Doctor, the hospital, and a facilities fee. I spend thousand more out of pocket at Duke than any of my other Specialists.

Good luck.

Your welcome.
I found the name for the other MS spec and it is Dr.Jeffrey and there is a Dr.Farr ? in Winston-salem that I've heard about.
Best wishes and I hope you can get on the list ASAP!
Grateful and blessed,

Too funny!  I just found Dr. Conway and Dr. Kaufman and I figured they both have long wait lists but I figure these problems aren't going anywhere so I guess Iv'e got nothing but time.  I might have posted my request a little prematurely but it is always nice to hear personal recs for docs.  Thanks for your input!
