Hi!
Thanks for your answers! i do suffer from anxiety at times. Does that cause burning feet? The swallowing started about a month before I fell pregnant so I dont think its related. Also in the last week my right foot at times has been going like a numb/cold feeling.
I have told the doctor about my swallowing and he didnt even bother looking and said it is anxiety and with the burning feet he said it was nothing and didnt give me any answers. I am thinking I may go to a different doctor..Again like you said it maybe just stress or anxiety. Although I really feel like there is something more to it as I have had for years and I havent always suffered anxiety.
Hi and welcome.
ArmyGirl gave you a great answer. Please talk to your doctor.
There are many conditions that cause tingling, including diabetic neuropathy, vitamin B12 deficiency, thyroid problems, and a lot of autoimmune and infectious diseases, many of which are easily treatable. Just hands and feet, on both sides, point away from MS. Stress can also cause both tingling and swallowing problems.
I'm betting your doctor will run some tests and will soon put your mind at ease.
Best wishes to you and your little one.

Hello there,
Welcome to the forum. We have some terrific people on here who can offer a wealth of knowledge about this disease.
Your symptoms are things that can happen with MS, but they can be caused by other things as well. It's hard to classify MS symptoms sometimes, because it affects everyone differently.
Congratulations on your pregnancy, and I know that must make this that much scarier. Just a few questions ... Have you talked to your doctor about your concerns?
Have you experienced any other symptoms? Has the swallowing only been since pregnancy? I ask that because when I was pregnant I had that and it was just b/c my daughter was taking up all my room ... I was swallowing and she'd push it back up :-)
Stay with us on the forum, and we will support you throughout this process, but first and foremost you need to see your doctor. If there is a concern this is MS, there are other tests that I believe can be done before the MRI to begin ruling out MS and other mimics. There are a whole slew of tests ... and I'm not sure they have to go in a certain order ... and I would think even so your pregnancy would warrant some changes a bit.
Sorry you are experiencing all these problems when you should be able to enjoy such a special time in your life. Please contact your doc, try to enjoy yourself and pamper yourself for sure. Try not to worry ... easier said than done, I know ... but hang in there.
Blessings,
