I was diagnosed a little more than 2 years ago and have had MS for over 20 years. I have a group of 24/7 X365 symptoms. They are present in varying degrees everyday.
* 2-3 minutes of nystagmus related double vision when I first wake up.
* Tinnitus
* Urinary Hesitancy
* ED
* Orthostatic Hypotension
They don't seem to get any better, but they don't seem to be getting any worse. They just are.

I have a similar same progression -- no dizziness -- but face pain, then sudden cold then right side weakness -- however it tends to last a lot longer (six weeks). I'm also in limbo. Plus a bunch of other things that come and so far go (again, usually for 3-6 weeks at a time).
When the above progression first started, it lasted and hour, then six, then finally weeks. I don't understand the face involvement. (My presenting symptom, however, was trigeminal neurgalgia and it seems I continue to have some sort of trigeminal neuropathy as part of what ever this is).
I believe I have some trigeminal neuralgia also. At least my chiro says I do and with as bad as my TMJ is I wouldn't doubt it. I also have a really bad neck so I wonder how many symptoms are from those two alone...
It's hard to be in limboland isn't it? I don't even know what kind of Dr. to see next.
I hear you. I keep getting sent here and there ... My ENT did confirm that what everyone has been calling sinus infections was in fact not. I started having my "sinus" trouble again mid October ... and two days ago finally realized that although it's not trigeminal neuralgia (no lightning bolts), I have constant numbness on the left, and in the same pattern (30 seconds to aminute) I'm having pain events. Take breath away, eyes feel crossed, but more of a deep buzzing than the previous immense shocky pain. A little easier to pretend it's not happening, which I'm thankful for. I'm guessing perhaps it's trigeminal neuropathy, but of course by the time I'm finally in to see a specialist it will likely be gone ...
My very first episode, July 2008, included the sensation that my upper rearward (I'll have to look that up) sinuses were clogged up. PCP, among other things, called for a CT scan of the brain, the report from which categorically excluded sinusitis.
But to hc1's question, I have a group of symptoms that come and go, but not in any consistent discernible pattern. Well, not discernible to me, at least.
