Got MRI report today...disappointed

Picked up my report today and was hoping for more lesions or something definitive so I could finally get my Dx but no significant changes since February. :( The only thing he states is that findings are consistent with an early demyelinating process. These findings wont be sufficient enough for her, Im sure.
So disappointed :(  Really was hoping for an answer

I know its easy to say... but hang in there!! you'll find someone at some point who will listen!!

the one "MS Specialist" i saw wouldn't even sign the renewal for my wheelchair parking permit!! he said he didn't see any evidence that I Needed my chair!!

it takes a lot of strength to deal with these people..
thing is, it always made me question MYSELF.. that was the worst part..
theyd say ok well your FINE! and id try to believe it.. but It was obvious that was a crock...

your right! you know your body!!
hard part is finding someone who will work with ya...

This is just so frustrating as we have been searching for answers for over 6 years now. 4 neurologists, 2 of them were MS specialists and still no answers! I know me, my body and I know that Im sick and it just ***** because I feel like, just frustrated!

ive had doctors for 4 years that are completely retarded...

I finally found one that said ok.. well you OBVIOUSLY have MS..
he said wether the tests show it or not.. thats what it is! (still havent had spinal tap yet)

but my MRI scans are always negative..

he said well, we can start treating you, unless you want to do NOTHING.. but he said he would reccomend NOT doing NOTHING!! and I agreed!!

keep going to different doctors.. find one that will actually listen to you!! it took me 4 years of trying hard to make it happen!

(granted my search was only 4 different neurologists) this stuff takes time, and im SOOOO impatient!!! i was letting them push me around and say there was no reason for any of my problems..and kept sending me to psycologists (all of whom said the referring doctors were crazy for thinking it was all in my head)

then id start doubting myself... thinking ok well.. maybe there IS nothing wrong with me... but in my case about 6 months ago, i stopped being able to walk AT ALL... so i couldn't ignore it anymore.. .

got on some forms and found a nearby doctor..(in another state) but i dont mind driving!

i guess all im saying, is dont lay back and let them hand it to ya!! go out and make things happen!!!

keep us updated!!
