Hi and welcome,

I don't think it sounds anything like either MS or ALS!

MS doesn't present with all over symptoms, doesn't rapidly get worse in a matter or weeks, doesn't cause symptoms to spread and or move around, doesn't cause bones to crack, doesn't cause the flu/cold (sore throat, runny nose, dry cough)......i don't know as much about ALS but again it's not a condition that rapidly develops and what's happening to you doesn't really fit the symptoms pattern.

The pain aspect 'could be' spinal related ie pinched nerve, degenerative disc etc but i doubt it would  account for all your symptoms, it's possible you're sleep deprived if the pain and discomfort is effecting your sleep quality, or stops you from remaining asleep etc though i'm honesty not sure where to point you too.

I would recommend you go back to your doctor what he/she thinks it could be and what tests you need to work out what is going on...

Hope that helps......JJ
