optic nerve damage :(

I saw my eye doctor and my eye is showing a decrease in visual acuity. :(  It is from the ON, which is not active right now, but there is optic pallor and permanent damage. crud...................

I have my next MRI the end of next month.

he didn't say it could get any better since it is permenant damamge to the optic nerve.  
It has been over a year since my last KNOWN case of ON.  I know you can have it and not know it.

I can see how that would be very easy to do if you already have a whacky eye from previous on.

I am sorry to hear about your vision loss. Did the ophthalmologist say the vision could get any better still? I hope so. How long has it been since you had the ON?
