I am new to this forum and just started having symptoms in August. In early August, my husband and I were in Las Vegas and I started having "pins and needles" in my hands and started dropping things. I was also very fatigued. It was really hot that weekend and then when I returned home, it went away (lasted about 48 hours).
About 6 weeks later, I woke up in the morning to go to the bathroom and on my way back, I fell to the floor and could not move my legs. I felt paralyzed, then a few minutes passed and I was able to move my left leg and crawled back to bed. The next morning, both of my feet and legs felt numb and I had the "pins and needles" feeling (like my legs were asleep). I was able to walk, but my legs felt week. It lasted for about four days. Then the "pins and needles" feelings started to go into my hands and feet. Another day passed and then I had a wave of numbness and my right leg went limp. I was unable to walk on it or move my toes. It lasted for 9 hours and then slowly started to subside where I was able to move my toes but still it remained weak and had the "pins and needles" feelings in my leg and feet.
For the past month, the symptoms that have remained constant are fatigue and pins and needles. The pins and needles come are constant through out the day and usually get worse at night and is aggravated by heat. Does this sound like I might be having a MS attack or is this not consistent with a normal attack?
History information... my father, his aunt and two cousins have MS. I have received normal blood tests and MRI.
Thank you for your help!
