My life Now, I'm trying my best to keep my sanity balanced by being around and taking care of my Boyfriend's mother, She has MS on the left side of her body, She's a vet, she has surgery a couple of times, but after it seems like it's some new problem come along. Crystal just had surgery recently in her pelvic area, says it was a node or something it was growing over time, today she saying doctors don't know what it is that they see on her left side of her Lungs growing too, doctors recommend her to have surgery for it on Friday.

Need her option or help!

Hi and welcome,

I'm sorry but i'm not sure what type of advice or help you are actually looking for.....i understand Crystal has MS and her MS issues are on her left side but surgery to remove or biopsy nodes, polyps, growths etc are not associated with neurological conditions like MS.

Unfortunately MS will not make her immune to having other medical conditions on top of her MS but what ever these nodes turn out to be is going to be an unrelated medical situation to MS, and she's not going to know what else she is dealing with and what options she has until her doctor's have diagnosed this secondary condition.

It's possible she will experience what's called a pseudo relapse because of under going multiple surgeries or at the least feel very very fatigued so she'll need to be more aware of her limits and not try to do to much, having MS wouldn't typically overly alter her recovery but in some MSers it can and they need more practical support during that time....

Sorry to not be of much help but it's not a typical MS situation that she's dealing with so a lot of thoughts i have are more speculation than would be of actual help.

I wish her a positive out come........JJ
