help having problems with cathing

well I know this mya b a personal to some people but i just had a nurse come out to train me and after an hour of trying and missing and her trying we cant get it . she left me with some supplies and said just keep trying I have the right technigue but my problem is I cant feel my fingers so every time I try to push it up it gets bent . anyone have any suggestions I first tried it on the toliet and then the bed I am glad I only have to do it prn as of right now but when you gotta go and cant  I need to be able to do this. she also mentioned that the new caths in the case the compact ones are a little more rigid so maybe thats what I need since numb fingers cant feel it .

Any help suggestions I would so appreciate and thanks

Thanks Audrey the nurse brought what the doctor ordered 14 french so when I asked about the compact ones they need to call my insurance to see if they are covered. It seems to me latley forget about what is good for the patient just whats good for insurance.

P.S.  how are you feeling? any answers or new direction?

Sorry you didn't get many answers, so I'm bumping this for you.

Seems kind of strange that the nurse didn't bring a variety of different types of caths for you to try?
