Electrical shocks

I kind of think this is just some more of those strange electrical shocks we get with MS but though I would throw it out here to see what others think.

I have been getting electrical shock in various parts of my body for quite some time. Most of the time they are strong jolts that make you jump from the force of them. But for the last few months I have been getting some different types than those.

The first one seems to only happen in my right foot ( the one effected the most my the MS ) which reminds me of what you see on TV with stun guns. Very rapid pulses of electrical shocks that will last for several minutes. these only happen when I am laying down.

The second one is a little more disconcerting to me.  These occur  left side of chest ( right over my heart ) but are very mild shocks. My thinking on them is that they are more of the same MS shocks but because that area of my chest is numb (due to nerve damage with 3x bypass surgery) that don't feel as strong as the normal MS shocks. But at the same time I can't help but wonder if they could be effecting the rhythm of my heart. They don't seem to be stress related or due to exertion so I doubt they are actually heart related.

So any thoughts?

Dennis

The heart is actually in the middle of the chest, so I think you're okay.

You said you had nerve damage because of a bypass?  I wonder if it's actually from the nerve damage.  I get frequent symptoms around my torso, but mostly pain and cramping, not paresthesias.

I don't have a heart Doc at the VA. They discharged me after I yelled at one of them. My last heart checkup was in '09. I do see my PC in a couple of weeks and will mention this to her....Though she will probably just tell me to ask my Neuro ( which isn't until Feb. ).

Hmmmm

With your histoy Dennis - why not just describe them to the heart doc?

So very much like us MSers to say oh well, it's just probably more of the same due to our existing damage, yada yada yada.

When was your last cardio visit?
I'd go just for good measure.
